A very respectable actor and a true motorsport figure passed away today. Paul Newman suffered from lung cancer and died at his home surrounded by his family and friends just as he wished. You can read the full story here: NY TIMES
Here he was behind the Disney and Pixar Sponsored Racecar at the 2004 24 hour of Daytona
On a side note, Disney/Pixar movie CARS is coming back for second time around. The movie is set to release in the summer of 2011.
I wonder if Doc Hudson (character voice over by Paul Newman) will be part of it.
Paul Newman was great at everything, that’s what Elizabeth Taylor said on him: “He was purity of heart. Working with him was such a joy.
