SCC Cruise

30 May 2009 2 Comments

SoCal Challengers and Stack Performance had a lunch cruise today so my wife and I took the Challenger out to join in the fun.

We all met up at Stack Performance in Anaheim around 8:30AM. There were about 22 challengers that showed up. The guys broke up the group into 2 so to not crowd up the lanes too much. Here’s the first group heading out…

We were in the 2nd group and left 15 minutes after.

We stopped by Cook’s corner in Trabuco Canyon but this bogus security guard was being a jerk and kicked us all out. That was the security guard walking towards us (next to the stop sign ahead)

The next stop was at “HELL’s KICTHEN” in Lake Elsinore where we all met up again with the other group..

My challenger being slammed had a rough time getting in and out of the lots LOL

Here’s a panoramic shot…

Went through Ortega highway which is basically a hillclimb with lots of nice twisties. Good workout for the H&R Coil Overs…

Then we made the final stop at Tom’s Farm in Corona.
Couple of panoramics…

It was a great day and we had a great time. These SCC guys are pretty laid back, down to earth and just super fun to hang out with.

Oh and after lunch we walked around and I saw the weirdest thing….

Elvis Presley incarnated as a duck!

I’ve never seen a duck that looks like this. Looks like it has an afro or some tupei feather type thing in its head. Duck looking like some Elvis impersonator.

Cant wait for the next one.
