Techco Open House
Techco International is a shop specializing in high performance parts for American cars. They reassembled the former SALEEN Race team that designed, developed and tested the SALEEN S7, S281, and other Saleen cars. They are most known for their TWIN SCREW Superchargers which Steve Saleen himself uses for all his SMS cars inlcuding the 570X Challenger. Techco is located in Anaheim, California, probably about 10 minutes from Disneyland, has a huge 150,000 sq.ft.facility. They do all the CNC, CAD, R&D, SLS prototyping and many more all in house. And every 3rd saturday of the month, they share and open their doors for all car enthusiast and clubs for a mini car show. So we at SoCal Challenger crew checked it out. Got my piece of crap camera and took some pics..

Here’s my ride with some new shades..

They were kind enough to give us a tour of the facility and show us their operations.

The beautiful Techco intake manifold. The Dodge Challenger Intake manifold closest to the camera is the fairly bigger than the Mustang intake manifold next to it due to engine bay constraints.

The Supercharger comes with super stealth intercoolers.. small but efficient.

This is how the “SCREWS” of the twin-screw starts. It doesn’t look like anything now but it starts with barrel of aluminum and Techco mills it from this…

to this…

Here is the new Mustang with the Techco Supercharger.

A Challenger getting ready for its dyno after receiving the supercharger.

Techo does a before and after comparison. Their kit starts with a mild 6 psi producing over 500 hp on a 5.7 liter R/T motor. But it can surely go up from there depending on the limit of your credit card haha.
Here’s the new Camaro getting ready to be boosted.

Inside the shop, you can see couple of Lemans Saleen S7s. Here’s one of them.

They even have vendors inside the shop during the event. Here is GT PRO’s booth with a black 360. The guy in the pic is Erwin who was formerly behind the BRS and the CURE Automotive brand responsible for building those crazy JGTC style Supra, RX7, NSX, BMW E36 and many more as seen in past SEMA and other track and show events. He came up to me asking, “Hey, arent you a BMW guy? What the hell are you doing driving a Challenger?!” hahaha. Glad to finally meet him in person. He gave me a peak of this EVO 8 he’s building and all I’m saying is when it’s done…. GAME OVER!

A Saleen DECEPTICON cop car even showed up.

Outside in the lot, a bunch of exotics and really nice cars showed up, looking like a mini Cars&Coffee.
And to my surprise, I saw this Ferrari California rolling in. So so HOTT.

My favorite Porsches at the meet..
Doesn’t have the typical RWB stance but hey not bad at all.

The license plate says it all..

Even saw an EVOX all decalled up in the lot.

There’s plenty more cars I took pics of so for the full gallery, goto

Wanted to thank the TECHCO crew for inviting us and putting together such a great event. Such an impressive operation. If I get some extra $$$, I’m def getting twin screwed.

That’s the Rally Innovations Evo X in the picture. I’m digging the sweet live sockets sticker on the hood. ha!
