Master of the INKS
As an artist, I’m always trying to improve my skills, especially when it comes to inking. I’ve been inking for over 16 years now and there are a lot to learn about this craft. It takes a lot of time and patience to get better. Sometimes this involves looking through books and books for inspiration. Like a vampire, I feed of from these amazing artwork, sucking every juice I can get out of each lines, learning every stroke of the pen and soaking in the techniques.
I have a ton of artist to thank for inspiring me. I’ll be highlighting these artists specifically who are truly the Master of the Inks. One of them is Andy Brase.
Every time I look at his work, I’m just mesmerized. I’ll let his art work do all the talking now. Remember, these are all pen and ink done the old fashion way, no computer aided stuff here.
My hands cramps just looking at the details.
It is currently almost 5 in the morning here but yet I can’t stop staring at all these stuff. Must get bbbetttterr.. arrgh.
