Varis E92 M3

25 September 2009 3 Comments

When it comes to an add-on lip splitter/spoiler for the E92 M3, I think Vorsteiner got the market cornered for this model. The are so many E92 M3 that sports their lip and rightfully so, it does look good. I personally dig ACS as well just for the reason that they are not as common but they do come with a serious price tag.

Now there are actually plenty of other choices out there for the E92 M3 if you are just looking for an add-on lip spoiler. One of which the VRS aka Varis from Japan.

Check out their demo car.

This is how it looks like in Track form…

It comes with an additional flat splitter that mounts underneath the front add-on spoiler. Here’s an old shot when it was being mocked up.

They recently made a set of canards for it too.

And here’s how the car looks currently.

If you look closer, you’ll actually notice that they added a set of vents in the front lip to act as a brake cooling duct.

Varis got a very unique carbon fiber vented hood as well. Detail shot of the vented hood.

Very sick TRACK Rear diffuser. Seriously no one beats Varis on this one.

For the track, the rear wing set up is the “wide version in which the wing mount is set at almost at the edge of the trunk.

Here is an on-board camera of the car running in the recent BMW Cup.

The exhaust is from Arqray from what I understand. Not bad.

But if you want to keep the car strictly for the streets, Varis also got you covered.

This is their demo car in “Street” form.

With a vented hood..

With the standard CF hood.

Close up shot of the front lip.

Street version of their rear diffuser.

And here is the “narrow” version of their rear wing. A lot lower plus the wing mount closer together.

And if that design is not for you, here is an add-on rear spoiler reminiscent of the CSL-style wing.

Any way you cut it, it’s great to have these options.

Great Feature! We’ve been selling a few of these on the BMW board. It’s cool to get this stuff out to customers outside of Japan! I really love all of their parts for the E92!

In the vid, I was wondering why the driver of the M3 got such a bad start getting passed by 2 cars. Then I noticed he released the e-brake during the first corner!

That car is nut as he begins to pick off those in front one-by-one~
