A5 wins

26 October 2009 No Comment

When Audi first introduced the A5, my thoughts were “about freaking time”.

They had such a success with the A4 and a 2 door version just makes a whole lot of sense. Audi did released a convertible A4 which did have 2 doors but not really a full pledge coupe. The A5 did eventually had its own cabriolet version and even spawned couple of variants

and the ever desirable RS5 coming soon.

Since it’s debut in ’07, Audi have sold 112,000 units with the largest market coming from Germany, US, Great Britain, France and Italy.

This year, the 2010 Design Awards of the Federal Republic of Germany have recognized and awarded the A5 as the “Germany’s Award for Good Design”. This is the fourth time that an Audi model has won this most prestigious of all official German design awards: the A5 joins the Audi A4 Avant, the Audi A3, and the Audi A2.
