Aristo’s hood

8 October 2009 2 Comments

There are a number of really well done Toyota Aristo aka Lexus GS all over the world. I’ve posted one from Garage Excellent in my post HERE.

And here’s another one. This time, this black 2nd gen Aristo has a very mild front end styling which makes me question if that unique vented hood is right for this car. I’ve seen single vented hoods before for the GS model but never this one. Post if you got more info on this hood.

Great wheels, ride height can be lower but def. practical for daily.

Not feeling this set on wheels but I hope the first pic is the more recent one.

And thus explains the need for the vented hood. The goods under the hood needs some heat relief.

That hood could be manufactured by somebody or it could just be a regular metal/frp hood with ducts. I think Masa originally made them but now everybody has them.
