Mean Cat

I was never a fan of the De Tomaso Pantera until I saw some in real life. Then I came across some heavily modified ones over at the Cars&Coffee meet here in Irvine and I just can’t believe how beautiful these cars really are.

The ones I like in particular are the GT5 and the widebody types coz’ almost reminiscent of an M1 Procar.

Here are some pictures of a mean looking Pantera.

The flat black hood is probably custom fabricated. The full roll cage and harnesses peaking through the driver side window are a tell tale sign that this is probably not just a street car.

The color looks like a really deep dark techno violet. Oh and check out the deep dish.

I thought they were Equip wheels but I guess not. But dang, them tires are meaty.

At the track where this cat can really stretch its legs.

It’s also interesting to see a duck tail style wing on this car as oppose to the typical countach style ones. From this view, you can also see how freaking wide the rear tires are.

Not sure what the “3 weeds” symbol suppose to represent – maybe that’s how many dope heads the owner flattened with those meaty steam rollers? LOL i dunno. I think it says “Speed Junky”- understandably so with a car like this.
