The verdict is out. Silver has taken the title of World’s most popular Automotive color for the ninth consecutive year. I thought white won it last year but I guess not.

In North America
1st – Silver (25%)
2nd – White (18%)
3rd – Black (16%).
4th – Red (12%)

In Europe
1st – Silver (35%)
2nd – Black (22%)
3rd – Blue and White (13%).
4th – Red (9%)

In addition to this Silver also dominated the popularity in ASIA with 34% of the market. This data was gathered by PPG. With so many different variants of silver, would this have resulted in it’s popularity? I dunno.
