HSV-010 GT Shakedown – UPDATE
Just a couple days after Honda released the first image of the HSV-010 GT, new pictures of the NSX replacement surfaced as it does some shakedown runs in Suzuka.
I’ve retouched some of these pics so we can see them better..
Side profile shots – looking really slick!
Rear shots – Check out the single, center-mounted exhaust!
Although the HSV-010 GT are still without their race team livery, there are actually 2 different HSV-010 GT running here differentiated only by the rocker panel decals.
This one has the Dunlop sponsor decal
and this one has the Bridgestone sponsor decal

Not only that , we get to hear how this car sounds.

Here’s a 10 minute video!

So, does Super GT not require competing cars to be production cars?

Honda found a way to compete with this car under a rule that allows production-ready cars which this HSV-010 GT falls under. Eventually, Honda will be required to release a street version of it though.

Finally someone has answered this question! I was wondering how Honda was able to campaign this car in Super GT when it’s not in production.

The front is very Hyundai Genesis Coupe, while the tail light assembly screams Toyota FT-86
not bad looking though

You could say that, except for the NSX Concept has been around for way longer.
