Revolution TA-2

10 December 2009 No Comment

Amongst the sea of modified tuner FD3S, one stands out from the rest. The body is all carbon fiber, the chassis is a one-of tube frame, and it does a lap of Tsukuba in 55 seconds.

Enter the Revolution TA-2.

Wild is an understatement.

The car is built by a popular tuner in Japan (where else) REVO-TUNE. The level of modifications the car received is above and beyond and typical tuner car. Park it next to any SuperGT cars and you would think it runs with them in their series. But the Revoltion TA-2 FD3s is strictly a time attack racecar. All the dry carbon and the lightweight, reinforced chassis matched with a well tuned boosted rotary engine makes for a very effective track machine that car ruin the day of any competitor just by a mere sight of it

And some pics from the RE WARS event.

Next up for them after the RE WARS was the Super LAP Battle where they posted their best lap time of Tsukuba at 55″915.

This was last year’s video of the event where they posted a 56 second run running against the skylines, evos and other FDs.

Check out Dino’s post on Speedhunters for this year’s coverage.
