JFactory Z4M

27 January 2010 No Comment

I haven’t posted that many Bimmers yet this year as I just can’t find any really interesting one. Here’s one that caught my eye though.

This BMW Z4 M is from JFactory. This car is an active participant in the Fuji Speedway 7-hr endurance race series in Japan.

The wheels are 19″BBS RE-Mg as in Magnesium. These are the same wheels that Mine’s R34 used in their car, very lightweight and strong.

The first thing that stood out to me though is that humongous rear wing.

The rear wing is a full carbon fiber GT wing from Varis. This is not a universal wing but specific to this model. When I say carbon fiber wing, I don’t mean just the wing itself but even the stalks and mount are all carbon fiber. Nice.

Surely overkill and out of place for the streets but since this car is tracked, all good.

Take note of what JFactory did to the rear bumper. Two vents on each side were cut out to make it a bit more interesting. Not sure how functional the vents are but certainly different nonetheless. Exhaust is cat-back system by DIXIS Redhot.

The front splitter is an add-on piece also from Varis.

The vented hood is once again from Varis. It’s a full carbon fiber piece and the vents are all functional.

Underneath the hood is really what matters right? And JFactory did it right but installing a supercharged system from DIXIS Redhot. It’s a relabled SC system produced by Active Autowerks here in the US.

And here’s a shot of it all stickere’d up at a recent track day.
