The Team 930 RUSH from Japan heads over to Dubai to compete in the 24 hour Dubai race coming up next week – January 14th, 15th and 16th. They are one of only three Japanese team headed over there. The other two teams are the Team Petronas Syntium Team 1 and Team 2 both running couple of BMW Z4M GTRs.

The Team 930 Rush will be racing their Porsche 964 Carrera against some of the best touring, gt cars and 24-hour specific racecars.

This was the last race Team 930 Rush competed in 2009 and then the car was cleaned up, some sponsors removed and the car was prepped for the Dubai race.

Here’s a very cool video of the car getting loaded up in the container to be shipped across the oceans all the way to the land of the bling.

Such a cool and dramatic video. Even though it’s just the car being loaded up makes me all excited. I can’t imagine how the rest of the Team 930 Rush guys must feel.

FIRST JAPANESE TEAM, Rush 930 enters 5th 24H DUBAI 2010

This year the first Japanese team, Rush 930, enters the 24H Dubai 2010 with a Porsche 911 Carrera.

They already have their drivers lined up:

* Mr. Masashi Kakiuchi
* Mr. Jun Yamashita
* Mr. Yosuke Shimojima.

We are Team 930 Rush from Osaka, Japan.
First of all, we would like to thank all people who helped us to enter this big event Dubai 24H 2010.
This is our first challenge for Dubai 24H, our race car is little bit old type Porsche, but we promise you to do our best and show you our SAMURAI Spirit to get better place, hopely on the podium!!
We applied original arrangements and new coloring on our Porsche 964, we will try to get best position in final race with our Japanese best Porsche drivers, accurate strategy and steady driving.
We hope our challenge will be affect other Japanese teams and becomes the first trigger for them to have an interest in this big event Dubai 24H.
