ARTA HSV-010 GT

12 February 2010 5 Comments

It has begun. The first HSV-010 GT showing its true livery colors is here.

Team AUTOBACS RACING TEAM AGURI showed off their fully liveried ARTA HSV-010 GT during their New Year ritual of Conduct held in Meiji Shrine in Tokyo, Japan.

Here are some pictures.

Along with the unveiling of the GT500 contender is the ARTA Garaiya competing in the GT300 class.

Both cars are sporting ARTA’s signature orange and white colors.

Drift King Keiichi Tsuchiya along with the execs from Aguri and the drivers for both cars were present during the ceremony.

There are a total of five HSV-010 GT that will be competing in this season of Super GT. Click here to see the my Dress Rehearsal post featuring all five teams.

I can’t wait to see the other four cars all dressed up.

Awesome design… personally I want to think that the car will be undergoing further design study and development under the wraps of the motorsports division.. maybe as things settle and the general outlook on world economy gets better Honda will decide to pull out a road going version from this.. maybe an exclusive package like the LFA.. except this one will actually see Super GT racing … sounds doable.. and potentially economically viable if the price/demand is right no?
