WTCC E90 BMW

18 February 2010 No Comment

I love to collect pictures of racecars in their “test car” form. You can see the shape of the fenders much clearly and other details you can miss with the livery and sponsor graphics applied. These details provides me with some inspirations which helps a lot when I design body kits for clients.

I posted a BTCC Civic earlier this week and this time, it’s the WTCC E90 BMW. Plus, I better start posting more bimmers before my friend Jay thinks this is another JDM blog, LOL.

BMW’s RBM Team spent two days last month testing at Portimão’s new Autódromo do Algarve, in Southern Portugal, the venue that will host rounds 11 and 12 of this year’s FIA WTCC on July 4th. Here are some pictures.

Garage pics are always great to look at too.

Pics of the BMW 320is from the track.

Augusto Fartus was behind the wheel of the RBM E90.

Check out the fenders from this angle. Nice!

It rained on their first test day but they were able to gather much info on the second day when the sun was let out and the tracks were dry.
