Round 5 of the 2010 AUTOBACS SUPER GT, took place at Sportsland SUGO circuit in Miyagi Prefecture.

Round 5 of Super GT at Sugo resulted in one of the closest finishes in the history of the series.

The 1st place winner KEIHIN HSV-010 edged out the 2nd place Weider HSV-010 by a margin of only twenty five 25 thousandths of a second.

GT500 class results

1st Place – #17 KEIHIN HSV-010

2nd Place – #18 Weider HSV-010

3rd Place – #6 ENEOS SC430

Although the MOTUL AUTECH GT-R qualified in first place, it slowed down due to one of the tire debris that went airborne and hit the cutoff switch located in its hood!
