Backstage with the Citroën Survolt

15 August 2010 2 Comments

Citroën unveiled their latest concept car the “Survolt” back in March during the 2010 Geneva Auto Show. What we often don’t see enough of is how concept cars like these were actually designed and built into reality.

I came across Laurent Nivalle’s website with few but very nice photography of the behind the scene aka backstage shots of the making of the Citroën Survolt.

Check it out.

To see more behind the scene photos by Laurent Nivalle goto his website.

For those who missed the press release back in March, here is the completed car.

And here it is shot recently during its test run in the Le Mans Classic last month.

I was and will always be in awe of prototyping!

Creation of these one-off concept vehicles is gobsmacking!

And see Vanina Ickx giving it the beans on Le Mans…

    Thanks for sharing!
