Cars&Coffee 8/7/10
Decided to come out again and check out the weekend’s Cars&Coffee (CnC) here in my hood. Drove “Big Willy” to the meet and was surprised that there were still plenty of spots left considering I got there after 7AM.

Good friend RJ came out also but not with “Biggie” (BMW 7er) nor Paris (widebody NSX) but the new Meguiar’s/Wraptivo project – 2011 Honda CR-Z.

They just got the car last week and I believe this is the first CR-Z that showed up at CnC. They have great plans for this ride and will be displayed for SEMA 2010. More info coming soon.
As usual, CnC brings out the nice rides. Here’s a track-ready Noble

Not sure if this is the same Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione that showed up here before but great to see it again.

Paul Cain’s very clean classic BMW 2002 twin turbo.

Caught this Aston Martin Vantage “Nurburgring Edition“

There were also a black Ferrari 458 that showed up.

and a black Lamborghini Gallardo 550-2 “Balboni”

I thought I took pics of these two but I guess not. So here are some pics by one of the “LEE’S iced coffee crew. Thanks Phil!
But one car that got me and RJ scratching our head was this.

We looked at the emblem on the hood but couldn’t figure out what it was.

Front end looked completely foreign to me but the body looked like it was a rebodied Corvette.

A view from the rear shows the split window which I thought confirmed that this was a Corvette conversion car.
The plates read “ROSSI66″. A quick google led to me the company’s website.
Here are the info I found.

It was a great saturday to see the usual guys and some unusual and rare cars.

RJ and I took off before 9AM to grab breakfast to discuss a few SEMA projects. This guy’s way of thinking fascinates me to no end. A lot of exciting stuff coming up so stay tuned!

Great photos Jon – love the style!
Can’t wait to see what plans RJ has for the CR-Z – any chance you will play some part in the project?
Can’t wait for the updates
