When I was a kid, I’ve envied my neighborhood friends who had the coolest toy cars that they drove back and forth my house.

I’m all grown up now and live in a whole new neighborhood but some stuff still hasn’t changed much. These scaled down cars are still around often powered by either pedal or electric motors.

But Harrintong Group took them in a whole new level.


While the ones I remembered were barely a replica of the real thing, Harrington Group produced an accurate replicas of some of the legendary classic cars such as the Porsche 356, Mercedes Benz 300SL, Jaguar E-type (my favorite), Willy’s Jeep, Bugatti T35 and even a gang of Mini Scooters..

These cars are half scale of the original but enough to fit two kids comfortably or a parent and a child even.

And forget about the pedal powered cars of the past, these babies are offered in a range of gas engine sizes from 50cc…

up to a hi-revving racing kart engine.


You also get to choose between an automatic or a manual tranny.

The true miniature replica cars comes in fully assembled, complete with your choice of paint color and your very own chassis #.

Although Harrington Group markets these half scale models for the children, I’m sure the child in all of us would want one just to race around our hoods.

Sad part of this post is that, I probably still can’t afford these half scale toy cars.
