I recently found out that I was nominated for the 2010 INKWELL AWARDS for my comic book ink works published in 2009. I’m nominated in the Q1 Favorite Inker Category. I feel honored to be up there with the other nominees. Don’t feel obligated to vote for me though. I appreciate your participation in honoring the inkers in the Comic Book industry.

The 4 Billion Dollar Deal

Disney’s acquisition of Marvel Entertainment was all the buzz amongst my artist buddies and the media. This news interests me as well as I do work for Marvel Comics as a freelance artist.
Based on the closing price of Disney stock on Friday, August 28, the transaction value is $50 per Marvel share or approximately $4 billion. What does this mean? This means that Disney is now the parent company of Marvel. But just like when Disney acquired Pixar, Disney execs will let Marvel continue to handle their thang. They have …

Comic Con 2009

My wife and I woke up early Saturday morning to brave the traffic and the crowd at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con International.

Spent about close to 2 hours of driving when we finally hit the Convention Center. It was madness outside. Saturday is probably the busiest out of all the other days, what were we thinking?
