Sound check

A video of the Lexus LF-A doing some shake down run to prepare for the 24hour Nurburgring in May.

That sound is pure supercar status. I love the sound when it downshifted. I can’t wait to see this car.

Crazy Bimmers

Round 1 of King of Europe Drift over at Hungary brought out some unbelievable bimmers.
Check out this white E36. Looks preety much stock, white with some Motorsport style graphics. Oh, hmm.. what’s that on the hood??

That is a 500hp, V8 S62 Motor commonly found in the E39 M5s. And yeah no need for HFM, costume tuned with MAP sensors probably.

Ok so some might say, that motor is too heavy and might offset the weight distribution blah blah blah..

Thanks BMW!
For the …

Here are some pictures:
When we got there, the Formula drift cars were heading back to the garage while the Super Lap Battle cars wait for their turn.

Drift riderz..

Then we strolled down to the Champ Car paddock..

And the American Lemans paddock..

I doubt these …

Formula Drift – Long Beach

We were in Long Beach today running errands. Most of the streets are blocked off getting ready for next week’s Grand Prix.

But today was also Round 1 of the Formula Drift. My friend JP hooked me up with couple of tickets so we decided to swing by and check it out since we are in the area already.

Plenty of Skylne R34s…

The stance on this green 240 was perfect but the drift battle scars hurts a little.
This is also the debut of the “rear wheel drive” Scion tC with Ken …

Widebody Racing M5s

I came across these pictures a while ago. I really want to see more pictures of these cars. Looks like it’s a series. It was just cool to see E39 M5s and E60 M5s racing against each other
