Mercendes Benz SL 65 Black Series comes typically in black, silver and white factory colors. I’ve seen a silver one in my neighborhood (maybe he was lost) and one at the LA Autoshow. A few odd colors like red pops out here and there. But here are shots of a rare Orange Metallic Black Series posted in AMG private lounge.

The silver black series looks so “normal” compared to the “hey look at me” orange.

But let’s get real, I’d still take it. Heck I’d take it in purple polka dots if …

The Mercedes Benz “R230″ aka SL- Class convertible replaced the R129 on 2003. And in 2008, it received a relatively significant refreshing inside and out. Following Merc’s lead, the boys at Inden Design got a hold of the SL65 AMG to update the look as well as being able to showoff the wheels they carry.
Here is how the car started..

With an MSRP of $300,000, the 2010 Mercedes Benz SL65 Black Series is the most expensive and powerful out of the three Black Series Mercedes Benz ever produced – actually ever, even surpassing the more expensive SLR McLaren.
I’ve seen a sample of this model personally at last year’s LA Autoshow and it looks just as good as it did on media pics. It looks great at any angle and color. Being in the Black Series family though, why not get the it in Black.

Mercedes Benz finally revealed the SL65 AMG Black Seriesthat’s been lapping the ‘ring. This car looks so goood. I can’t wait to see one in person.

The hood and the fender flares to the sideskirts are right on the money. The bumper is pretty close to what I had imagined but not too bad. I’m happy.

When you have a CLK63 AMG Black Edition Mercedes Benz, you really do not need to do anything to it. But the folks over in Germany thought there’s still some room to personalize this car. Enter Kicherer Fahrzeugtechnik.

Mercedes Benz will not release the official images of the SL65 AMG Black Series until couple more months but I thought I post my rendition of how it may look like.
