When I saw the Rieger body kit on their white Audi S5 demo car, I didn’t think much of it, until I saw this really mean looking black S5 from AP Dank. Must be the color and the wheels.

Typically when you got a late model ride, the wheels of choice are new school styles to match. But of course, there are NO rules in modding a car so matching an old school wheels like a set of BBS RS to a new model car can be surprisingly proper.

When Audi first introduced the A5, my thoughts were “about freaking time”. This year, the 2010 Design Awards of the Federal Republic of Germany have recognized and awarded the A5 as the “Germany’s Award for Good Design”.

For those who are new to this blog post series, it’s a tribute to not just black cars on black wheels but specifically “satin” or “matte” finish paint jobs / vinyl wraps. It doesn’t matter which make and model of car as long as it meets the criteria and is well done, it’ll be posted here.

Love the box flares in the fenders. Reminds me of a smooth E30 M3 flares.

Rear looks even crazier. Those exhaust tips looks humongous.

I don’t see that many fixed up RS6 Avant and this is probably one of the best out there.

Check out the Breyton Race LS concave wheels. I thought these wheel were exclusive to BMW but I guess not.

If everything works out well, next project car for me might be a wagon, especially after seeing these pics.

This B6 Audi A4 is really clean. With a car being black, the upgraded side skirts and rear valance disappears blending in nicely with the factory lines. No other eye-distracting body kits but instead just a FMIC upgrade for more efficient cooling, grill replacement to clean up the front end, and a nice drop for that sweet stance.

My favorite part of the car is the wheels. The step-lip SSR Professor MS1 wheels with the center finished in flat black looks great. It’s one of those wheels that brings me back …
