The countdown begins for the 24 hour of LeMans. As we wait for the weekend, drool over these pictures of the car as they arrived at the venue in France.

Contrary to my latest Audi R8 GT Spyder rendering, this particular Audi A9 Concept actually makes more sense. Check out more pics after the jump.

Tony Stark drove the V10 Audi R8 Spyder in the Iron Man 2 movie. But I thought it would be cool to give him the R8 “GT” Spyder instead. Since the R8 GT doesn’t exist in a spyder version, I thought to do a quick rendering of it. Check out the front quarter and rear quarter view rendering I did of how the R8 GT might look like topless.
Not sure if it will ever be built but it was fun.

Audi just recently released official pics of their latest version of their R8, the R8 GT. The press pics shows the lightweight V10 beast in matte white. But check out some pics of it in Samoa Orange Metallic.

Porsche, more specifically Manthey Racing, dominated round 1 of the VLN Long distance Championship racing series in Germany placing 3 of their cars in the top 10- all in their premier race too. Results after the jump plus check out this Z4 GT3 with a completely different livery from the other Team Schubert Z4 GT3 we’ve seen before.
