One of the contender in the Forced Induction systems for the current 3 series BMW is ESS tuning from Norway. I’ve recently posted a motorsport style Z4 from them and their white E92 M3 from GS Bilderer which was the car that received their first supercharger system for the E9x application.
It doesn’t stop there obviously. Another E92 M3 was fortunate enough to get boosted and this time , it’s black. The exterior mods are really subtle, specially with the car being black, nothing too distracting.

BBS RS is such a classic old school wheels that its continuing to be the popular choice of wheels for the many who are fans of that old school Euro look. The classic mesh design on a multi-piece set up giving you a variety of offset set ups are I’m sure the reasons for its prevalence.

BBS have just released some new wheels. Out of the six new wheels, my eyes went directly to the BBS FI.

The FI stands for Forged Individual. Just like on my GT2 wheels, the spokes are scalloped. The back milling between the spokes makes for an interesting surface in addition to reducing extra weight. Combined that with their forged technology they were able to produce an ultra lightweight and very strong wheels tipping the scales at only 16.3 lbs for a 19×8.75. There was talk about Lexus coming out with the IS-F EVO which I’m guessing is a lightweight, sportier version of the IS-F comparable to say a CSL M3 (I still can’t believe the E92 M3 doesn’t have a CSL version). Hopefully the exterior styling will be a lot more aggressive that the current IS-F skin.
