Take a trip back with me circa early 90s when there were a lot of old school BMW E30 M3 race cars that roamed and roared the track back in the days like the DTM Worsteiner E30 M3, Jagermeister E30 M3, Diebels E30 M3, JPS E30 M3 and many others. With all the rumor and misinformation that flew around when that red concept car was caught being loaded in the a transport car, we now know what the real Vison Efficient Dynamic Concept that BMW is debuting in the upcoming Frankfurt Autoshow.

Bimmerpost had posted some spy shots of a BMW Concept yesterday.
Here’s a picture of one of them.

According to BMW insiders, this concept is called Vision Z or Z6. From the pictures, it looks like a full scale clay model used for presentation. The word is that this was taken after a photoshoot for BMWweb.tv. It certainly looks like BMW is not slowing down with their Gran Turismo models which this looks like a precursor to the 6er GT.
So I decided to fire up the ‘ol Photoshop and have a go …

We’ve all seen numerous E92 M3 all done up with the best parts. But the convertible counterpart of the E92 which is the E93 fits into these parts as well with the benefit of being able to go topless.

No one can deny that the BMW E30 M3 is one of the best production car of its time. These days, I find a lot of these models having the S14 swapped out by inline sixes and being boosted. BMW Purist of course frowns upon such acts but I say Viva deFerence and let’s mess with perfection. DM Performance located in France is one of the top tuners there who enjoys making BMWs perform at peak performance.
